Industries, depending upon the characteristics of their effluent quality and quantity, have Effluent Treatment Plants to get rid of contaminants to attain specified standards for the treated effluentâs disposal.
One of the most expensive and energy intensive treatment step involves need for thermal energy to evaporate water out of high TDS effluent to recover pure water and recover solids for suitable disposal or as by product sale.
Our ZLD system is a unique HEAT PUMP based solution which achieves this objective of recovering reusable water from high TDS water in a highly energy efficient manner without need for any fossil fuel based thermal energy for evaporation.
Our system can, also, be designed to handle industrial effluents, generated mainly in engineering and automobile industry, with emulsified oil in water. It is very difficult to remove emulsified oil by physical separation processes and it needs thermal energy for water separation before it can be recycled.
Our system can offer a highly energy efficient, hence economic, solution for treating such water and recovering pure water out of it for recycle. The system can also treat contaminated oil (with emulsified water) to recover pure oil for recycle and reuse.
